Ordinary teacher & non-dancer Ben Hammond dances for 131 hours,
in cycles of 4 hours, live on-stage and in public at The Scoop at More
London, the capital’s iconic amphitheatre on the banks of the River
Thames, from 11th to 16th October 2011.
The world record divides into thirty 4-hour silent discos, each
featuring a different kind of music or dance, which sees a total of
10,000 or more people helping to set a second world record for the
world’s longest (and greatest) silent disco.
A range of awards & prizes add sparkle and fun.
Individuals and teams may be invited to dance on the elevated stage
with Ben to a song of their choice, seen live not only by the dancing
audience but anyone in the world via our online feed.
Global onlookers
can become free to dance too, streaming their webcam dances &
dancing free through cyberspace with Ben!
With registration from just £1, Free to Dance is open to all. Each
participant then commits to raise a small minimum amount (adults £20,
children £10) for registered educational charity LearnBurma - using
their freedom in a fun, funky & freestyle way to support those in
Burma with none.
If you want to salsa make sure to book the 6-10pm slot on October
12th, being co-ordinated by London Salsa in conjunction with 8 top salsa
